Update to 0.62.0

We’ve updated Exploit: Zero Day to 0.62.0 as part of the “Razor” release.

This release contains an update to our password requirement enforcement, which has been inconsistent. We have no reason to believe there’s been any sort of breach or leak, but when you next change your password, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

  1. At least 9 characters
  2. Not entirely numeric
  3. Not one of the 20,000 most commonly-used passwords

If your password is shorter than 9 characters, we do suggest you change your password, as that’s just too short.

(Also, if you aren’t already, consider using a password manager! It’ll allow you to choose longer and more complex passwords that you don’t have to memorize. We’re fond of 1Password, but there are other good ones, too.)

Exploit: Zero Day is available to play for free! Create and solve puzzles and clusters and play our free season of story, “Black Echoes”.
