Uhhh...Bored5555!?

the splitters are not splitting, they’re only firing singles the wrong way.

is this bc there’s too many packets???

and the turn mirrors are just creating packets on their own WTH!?!?

Oh, that’s a fun one.

There’s definitely something going on here. The puzzle is still solvable, but I think it takes longer than it “should”. Some background:

Splitters have a short cooldown before they will split again, so on high-density puzzles like this they may skip packets. Some years ago, Bored5555 handed us a bug on a similar system where packets were infinitely multiplying when a lot of splitters were in play. The cooldown solved that and some performance issues back when we were supporting Internet Explorer.

We think we can reduce that cooldown to be less noticeable, and it looks to me like something is going on with the port cooldown, too, making it slow to activate when I try to send additional packets into the system.

(Let me know if you need a hint on how to solve it in its current state!)
